video 'aangeraakt'
The video film (8 min) 'Touched' is a one-off product that is also a part of the project Touched.
'TOUCHED’ is a project in which co operation, creativity, integrity and inspiration are the driving forces.
In 2005, a group of artists worked on a project where film, music and photography eventually come together in the triptych Touched.
Unfortunately, in December, 2005, due to a lack of sufficient funding, the production of parts 2 and 3 of the triptych had to (temporarily) stop.
Part 1 'Touched' ('aangeraakt') has been shown on various local TV stations, amongst others, MeerTV Utrecht, MVS Amsterdam and was also shown during the Pink Film days (14-18 December) in Amsterdam.
Part 1 of the triptych, 'Touched' ('aangeraakt') is a video film by film maker Dzul Sungit and photographic artist, Johan van Breukelen and concerns sexual abuse and longings for contact. The song text is about the experiences of a man who was assaulted as a child and through this life experience, ends up in sinister and dark situations. He is continually seeking contact with men, especially images of his abuser but ultimately he's looking for himself. Ultimately, it concerns the transformation from darkness into light.
